Exposition: A 13 year old girl who's living in an apartment building in Greenwich Village, New York with her Mother and her Father who work a lot. She feels alone all the time.
Inciting Incident: She passes by this so called "abandoned apartment room" everyday while leaving her building to go to school, she never really thinks about it.
Rising Action: One day she realizes it's there and makes a plan to break in and explore the apartment.
Climax: Once she's in she realizes she's not alone and meets the women who's been living there for 25 years.
Falling Action: She sits down with the women to talk about why everyone thought that the apartment was abandoned.
Resolution: She finds a new friend and starts to visit the women everyday after school.
I really like the whole idea of your story, and how she's going to meet a woman who's been living there for many years. How old is the lady she meets? Does anyone else know she lives there?
ReplyDeleteI like your idea because it has a bit of mystery in it. You should make the old lady really interesting, and if you wanted to you could maybe relate her to the girl's life in some way, just to make it a bit more exciting.
ReplyDeleteI liked how the girl was able to find someone to talk to so she wouldn't feel neglected all the time by her parents which is sad. She should tell her parents and make them feel happy for her.
