Donnaleah's exposition

I remember the day vividly, as it was the day my entire life changed. It was a frosty Thursday afternoon in the middle of November, right in between my sixteenth birthday and thanksgiving. I had been coming down with a cold for a while at that point and was leaving school early because of a throbbing head ache. I remember thinking how easy it was to get out of school, they literally let me just walk out of the building and drive off of the school parking lot. Anyway I stopped at the seven-eleven on the corner of curtis and monroe and picked up some soup, popsicles, and cough syrup to get ready for a few days in bed. Afterwords I started north towards the residential side of town looking forward to my warm bed.
