Exposition: The story takes place in Lebanon, where I was born. There were many different settings like my house, the driveway, and on the street, where I got hit by a car. There aren't really many characters. The main characters are me, my cousin, my parents, and the lady that hit me.
Inciting Incident: The first major event that created the conflict was when my cousin threw the ball that we were playing with and rolled onto the street.
Rising Action: The thing that made all of the stuff happen was when I ran after the ball and didn't look to see if there were any cars coming before I crossed the street to get it.
Climax: Then when I crossed the street to get the ball, I got hit by a car. The woman that hit me was on her phone and smoking a cigarette at the same time. It wasn't my fault because she was a bit far from me when I was on the getting the ball. She would of had time to stop, but she was distracted by her phone and cigarette.
Falling Action: After I got hit, my dad had seen what had happened and came running down to the street. The woman that had hit me got out of her car all freaked out and crying.
Resolution: Finally, an ambulance was called and I was taken to the hospital. My parents also called the police and took that woman's number and information. My parents took that woman to court and from what my parents had told me, sued her and got money from her.

ReplyDeleteI'm not going to lie but this made me laugh a little, apart from that it was pretty good, the story should be pretty easy to write considering you witnessed it in person... and got hit by the same car featured in the story.
