Exposition:A perfect suburban family, a mom a dad, their sixteen year old daughter(Sarah) and their fourteen year old son(Nathanial)and a dog(sparky).
Inciting incident: One day Sarah comes home early from school with a stomach ache to find her dad with his secretary kissing on the couch.
Rising action: Sarah is faced with the choice to keep the secret or tell her mom and watch her family fall apart.
Climax: Sarah tells her mom about the affair.
Falling Action: Sarah watches her family fall apart as her mom takes her dad to court.
Resolution: The economy fails and her mom loses the case. She ends up living in a motel room with her mom and her brother. She comes to realize that happiness doesn't come from material things like a big house and three cars but from the important things like family.
I really like this story, and I like your theme of showing the importance of family. I was wondering how she is negatively effected by this. and it might be interesting to focus on that part.
ReplyDeleteI think this story has a interesting and sort of depressing plot. But i feel that it will be a story that its climax will be exciting and fun to read.
