Exposition: Takes place during the Crusades in the middle east. Main characters are Tommy George of the British Army, Ahab Muhammad of the Islamic Armies.
Inciting Incident: They meet during a ceasefire of the war for the holy land. They become good friends.
Rising Action: The war begins again and they are forced to fight against each other once more. They eventually meet on the battle field.
Climax: They meet face to face in the heat of battle. While Ahab still keeps the friendship in mind, Tommy does not hesitate in slaying his foe. Tommy later realizes who he has killed in battle and it quickly begins to die on the inside.
Falling Action: Tommy's life quickly spirals out of control because of all the atrocities that he committed including knowingly killing his best friend.
Resolution: Tommy's massive amounts of drinking send him into a suicidal stage. He eventually stabs himself eith the same sword he stabbed Ahab with.
I really like your overall idea. It has an interesting and unique theme. I am a confused about Tommy's drinking issue, and wether or not he has a history with alcohol.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really great theme and sounds interesting. It's confusing how Tommy didn't notice that he was fighting Ahab when they were face to face. Was Ahab's head covered?
ReplyDeleteNice story
ReplyDeleteWhere was the holy land?
This reminds me of a movie that I watched in history class
I really like the plot of this story. Its interesting that tommy doesnt end up doing well.
ReplyDeleteI liked the historical plot and how two friends were forced to fight against each other and one killed the other which ended sadly.
ReplyDeleteThis is actually really good... it's clever how you have the friends using the same sword that one got killed with to kill himself.. ha..ha..
ReplyDeleteNice theme, reminds me of Assassins Creed. You should say how they become good friends because it doesnt seem like people in those days could be like that so easily.
